One of our biggest concerns about Sophia coming home would be her adjustment to the New Hampshire cold. The way we figured, she would be wearing a winter jacket from the day she came home until July!
Well, not this gal. She would love nothing more to be barefoot in a onesie. The only time that she is truly cold is when she comes out of the bathtub. It's funny though, as much as she loves the cold, she LOVES the heat. I guess coming from temperatures of 90/100 degrees that shouldn't be surprising. One of her first weeks home, we forgot to adjust the settings on the space heater (so it wouldn't go above 70 degrees in her room). When we walked in the following morning, it was 90 degrees. She was LOVING it, in her fleece jammies and all!! This child could truly live in whatever climate and be happy about it :)
Another thing that cracks us up is her LOVE of the strong wind!! I was at the store a couple of weeks ago and it was very windy out. I figured she would start shivering and crying, but nope!! She turned her face into the wind and kept giggling and smiling. Such a cutie :)
